  Trine is a trio featuring saxophonist Rick Britto, guitarist Jim Robitaille, and drummer Chris Poudrier. The name refers to the equlibrium and relationship of three planetary systems in a complete harmonic syndrome. Politics is the groups debut recording and features original compositions by drummer Chris Poudrier and guitarist Jim Robitaille and a Clare Fischer piece called Canto Africano which is the second commercial recorded release of his composition. The music is open with free collective energy improvisation on the themes along with chant and drone pieces.
